5 Tips for Less Stress While Traveling This Holiday Season
Is everyone you know talking about holiday shopping too? Whether that’s you or it’s stressing you out, we’ve got some tips to help you be present – see what we did there 😉 – and get the most out of the upcoming jolly festivities!
Outsmart the crowds and arrive early.
If you can, work a little wiggle room into your travel schedule by adding a few extra days and soak in those holiday moments a little longer. Arriving early to not only your destination but flights, bus rides, attractions, stores, and restaurants will go a long way in helping you have a relaxing and festive holiday.
Be patient with flight/hotel/restaurant staff.
We get it, it can be frustrating to have to wait for stores to open due to cut hours or an extra half hour to get a table at a restaurant. Unfortunately, Eagan’s businesses are not exempt from the workforce shortage and are doing the best they can. Help make this holiday season a little easier by being flexible and understanding when delays happen.
Check Covid restrictions ahead of time.
It’s an obvious one but takes away a lot of stress to know what you can expect when you’re traveling. Guidelines and restrictions are changing all the time, so be sure to check with the state authorities as well as individual businesses or attractions for specific policies currently in place before you arrive.
Stay connected with the Enjoy Eagan App.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!
