First things first, scope out a spot for relaxation and soaking up the sun in between your wild water adventures. Whether it’s a lounge chair right by Shipwreck Cove, or just laying a towel down on the grassy hill overlooking the park called Lookout Point, you will be able to catch some rays and take a breather whenever needed.
For the thrill seekers, it’s time to hit the slides! The Hurricane Slide and the Captain’s Ship Slides are highly recommended for those wanting speed and a big splash. For the less adventurous slide enthusiasts, hop on the Typhoon or the Tube Slide for a fun, yet leisurely ride. You can even ride with a friend on a double tube!
Okay, the slides are great and fast-paced, but what about a more relaxing thing to do at the Bay? The Lazy River is your answer! Let the current take you along the river and unwind while lounging in a tube of your choice. Halfway through, you have the option of getting a little more wet with sprayers and waterfalls, or just stick to the calm course you’ve been floating along.
Snack break! Head over to Captain’s Galley for a well-deserved treat or maybe even a full meal. The grill is always heating up with hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. The sweet offerings are never ending with options like Dippin’ Dots, cotton candy, mini donuts and slushies. Or if you just need to quench your thirst, fountain drinks, bottled water and iced tea are available as well.
You might be getting tired, but you have to pick up the energy to go mini golfing at Captain’s Course! This nine-hole miniature golf course is the perfect activity to end your day with family and friends and it’s only $4 for unlimited all-day golf (with admission to the pool).
