Through the doors of the brand-new, beautiful Omni Viking Lakes Hotel, you will find a comfortable yet modern oasis known as Kyndred Hearth. Created by James Beard award-winning chef, Ann Kim, the eatery’s menu features local favorites of Ann’s that have been made famous at her other restaurants in the Twin Cities: Young Joni, Pizzeria Lola and Hello Pizza. For example, the Tavern Pizza topped with sweet and savory flavors of honey and jalapeno or the Greek filled with delicious Mediterranean ingredients like sheep’s milk feta and kalamata olives.
Kyndred Hearth’s signature copper wood-fired oven is an Instagram-worthy focal point in which many of the menu’s dishes are cooked in such as the hanger steak topped with a flavorful chimichurri and a new favorite of our marketing coordinator’s, the Korean Sweet Potato Gratin. It’s a unique take on a Midwestern comfort food dish that we all know and love, but even cheesier and tastier! Along with house-made pasta like Rigatoni alla Vodka with a hint of chili and braised Korean Short Rib with miso polenta, Kyndred Hearth’s tapas-style menu has a delicious dish for every palate to enjoy.
Round out your mouth-watering meal with Ann Kim’s infamous homemade soft serve ice cream that everyone is raving about and top it with sea salt and olive oil for the perfect bite.
