“On our August 3-9 “Mighty Minnesota” motor coach tour with 53 senior citizens aboard, the Hampton Inn in Eagan was a convenient location for our visits to Mall of America and the city tours with Metro Connections which began at Minnehaha Falls.  We were happy with the short ride back to the Hampton Inn after our visit to the Irish Fair and a memorable Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard a Padleford river boat.  The welcome reception was a nice touch, especially since it followed our later-than-predicted arrival on August 6.  When I called the hotel 10 minutes prior to arrival, the front desk clerk volunteered to come out and show our driver where to park — Hurrah!  We especially appreciated the complementary drivers room and the discounted rate of the tour director’s room.  I stayed at this property 15 years ago and found it has been beautifully maintained and updated!
